How similarly, or how differently do we draw pictures compared to other people? I would appreciate all the help i can get on this experiment, especially if you know someone who speaks a language other than english.
A Sunny Post Challenge!
To all my friends out there - you have all been tagged and i promise this is a very simple task that won’t take much time.
STEP 1
Please pull out a piece of paper and draw a picture of a sun right now. Don’t read the rest of my post beyond this point, as it will ruin & spoil this experiment, so please draw that picture of a sun - right now. Preferably to be done on a piece of paper, but you can use the computer to draw this picture if you’ve got no other option, right now.

STEP 2
I would like to know the steps you took to construct it, describe how you drew it - comment.
Did you draw the circle first? Where did you start with the pen? At the top-right corner? Did you go in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction? Did you draw the radiating lines next? Start at the top? Then maybe work your way round in a clock-wise direction? How did you construct it?
If you used the computer to draw, please make a mention of it and describe the tools, steps & directions you took in constructing it.
STEP 3
If you have more time to do this as a post on your blog, i would love to see a picture of it at your end. Let me know and i’ll put a direct link to it in this post with a thumbnail of your picture here, so that other people can visit your sun picture and read about how you constructed it. A sunny gallery of thumbnails from many different parts of the world might paint a very interesting picture as a collective whole.
If you’re keen to take it on, please leave a comment with Mr.Linky and link up your url to the sunshine post. Directing links to the sun shining on your blog will be appreciated.
~ Thanks!
Here’s how my 6yo son constructs a sun at the moment
The timing of the strokes are closely approximated to how he drew this sun in real life.
