It was a carpet of white across the road.

Morning Fog
A beautiful foggy morning to wake up to today. It felt so amazing. I felt so much peace, happiness and fulfillment within it’s stillness. I love how it always gets so misty here when it rains. The fog has the effect of fading out the external noise of life. Powerlines and antennae fade into white and we’re left with nothing but the trees. Picture below is a view looking out from the verandah at the front of the house. I’m enjoying the cusp of winter and look forward to spring so much.
My husband stuck George’s thermometer onto the tree which lives outside our kitchen window so that we could see the temperature without needing to walk out of the house.
It was quite something to make a cup of coffee this morning with a view like this one. Enjoying the silence. Enjoying the peace. Enjoying the warmth of central heating too. 555
